When we go through struggles, we often lose sight of who we are and the things that are important to us. But because spiritual counseling asks you to look inside and be more mindful of your behaviors, you’re more likely to reconnect and recommit to your values.

A Supportive Hug
  • What is therapy?
Therapy is an opportunity to discuss/talk about important issues with the client while having a trained, objective person (Therapist) help work through not only the current situation but in dealing with similar situations in the future. Therapy can be about one specific problem, or it can be about multiple. Something to mention is that therapy is a collaborative event; it requires an active role from both the client and therapist for change to occur.
  • Why do people attend Therapy sessions / Why is Counseling beneficial?
People see a therapist for many reasons, including but not limited to stress management and a specific diagnosis. Sometimes an event occurs that causes an individual to seek help, while others may attend therapy because it provides a trained, objective person to help them work through some issues they may have been struggling with for years. Counseling can be beneficial because clients may feel a sense of control in their life and have the tools to make better decisions or changes.
  • Is Step By Step right for me?
Step by Step may be right for you if you're looking to improve the quality of your life. Whenever there is anything that interferes with your happiness or prevents you from achieving your goals, we may be able to help. We also have therapists who specialize in specific issues such as stress, anxiety, relationships, parenting, depression, addictions, eating, sleeping, trauma, anger, family conflicts, LGBT matters, grief, religion, self-esteem, and more. Step By Help is not the right solution for you if any of the following is true: You are a minor, or you are under the care of a legal guardian. You are in an urgent crisis or an emergency. You were required to undergo therapy either by a court order or by any other authority. You do not have a device that can connect to the Internet, or you do not have a reliable Internet connection.
  • How can I be sure that this is an effective form of therapy?
Many studies confirm the effectiveness of therapy for making life changes. Our confidence in the platform comes primarily from the feedback and testimonials we receive from clients. Every day, we are excited to hear from more people about how this service helped them make a tremendous change in their lives.
  • What are the different types of therapy?
Individual – The client has one on one sessions with their therapist to address any concerns and work through and seek positive alternatives. Group – With a therapist facilitator, the clients have the opportunity to work through and support each other with similar interests. Group counseling enables clients to learn from others’ experiences and see that they’re not alone. Couples/Family – Helps reduce tension/conflict and improve communication skills within the family unit.
